Come and experience the natural world from the underground to the high mountains in the most modern museum of its kind in Slovakia. This is the Slovak Museum of Nature Conservation and Caving. During an interactive tour you can look into the bear's den, listen to the sounds of nature and animals or try crawling in the cave. Finish the tour in the museum's observation tower, from which you can see the landmarks of the town of Liptovský Mikuláš. The museum is divided into 2 expositions located on four floors, from the basement to the attic. The spaces in the basement are adapted for the exposition Karst and Caves of Slovakia, which presents the phenomenon of karst in all its contexts. The first floor to the attic are dedicated to the exhibition Protected Nature of Slovakia, which brings closer the geo- and biodiversity of life, their protection, and is also dedicated to the issue of sustainability.
